New Google Analytics API Introduced

New Google Analytics API Introduced

Saturday, June 6th, 2009 in MBL News.

We’ve been working with the recently released Google Analytics API to improve the service we offer to our clients.  With the integration of website statistics our clients can now receive their website stats from each day for the last year through our own website.

Google recently released the long awaited API for their website statistics application allowing developers to create their own creative ways to access data.  This means that we have been able to create an interface which provides our clients with an in depth analysis of traffic on their site.

Over the years Google have allowed access to their data through APIs for many of their products including Google Maps, GMail and Google Charts among others.  We have taken advantage of the Google Charts API in our implementation of Google Analytics to create a user friendly interface which gives you a quick snapshot of how your site is doing online.

Other implementations of the new API include and Adobe Air application called Polaris which allows you to view statistics from a desktop application.
